Do I need to be skinny, and young?

Most definately NOT! 

Pole dance is suitable for women of all ages and any  fitness level. You are able to work at your own pace and to your own ability. Your fitness levels and strength will progress as you advance. You will never be made to do anything that is outside of your comfort zone.

What Should I Wear?

It's important that you feel comfortable in class, but bearing in mind that you'll need bare skin to facilitate grip I would recommend shorts and a vest top. However, tracksuit or jogging bottoms are ok to begin with.

Jewellery should be taken off as it can damage the pole and the skin should be free from all moisturisers and fake tan as this can make the pole slippery and therefore dangerous.

Is Pole Dancing Difficult?

Some women do find it easier than others, everyone has their own strengths and weaknesses and we can help you find spins and tricks that suit you as an individual.

Is pole dancing suitable for everyone?

I regret that I'm unable to teach pregnant ladies or, due to the nature of the activity, ladies under 18.

 Everyone participating will be asked to sign an informed consent and ParQ form.

What do i need to bring to class?

You may like to bring trainers, although bare foot is fine, a small towel, and a drink.
